PMCB / your order confirmations and invoices

We informed you in April 2023 about an important change that has occurred for all our French customers starting from May 1, 2023. Due to French legislation on extended producer responsibility in the construction sector, we are legally obliged to collect an eco-contribution on our Building Construction Products and Materials (PMCB).

This eco-contribution is an additional fee that is added to the current price of our products and construction materials. This fee will cover the costs of collection, valorization, and disposal of the affected products and materials to ensure their environmentally friendly and sustainable treatment. As a company, we are required to pass this eco-contribution on to you.

We have joined the Valdelia organization, which is responsible for the collection and valorization of construction products and materials in the construction sector. Our registration number in accordance with Article L. 541-10 of the Environmental Code is FR218162_04TTFO.

Starting from June 1, 2023, the eco-contribution will be included in our selling prices without any price increase: SIGA will therefore fully cover the eco-contribution for the year 2023. It will be indicated as follows on our order confirmations and invoices (see example):

The amount of the eco-contribution depends on the classification and net weight of the item. Our items are assigned to the following categories.
